Grote Markt 16, 2011 RD Haarlem
Important: ‘Vleeshal' within the Frans Hals Museum is accessible by wheelchair.
The Frans Hals Museum is one of the oldest museums in the Netherlands and the proud guardian of Haarlem’s artistic heritage. In its beautiful historic buildings, the museum showcases masterpieces from the 17th century, including the lively portraits painted by Frans Hals himself. Contemporary artists are also given space here, engaging in dialogue with the past. The museum reflects Haarlem as a city of artists, innovators, and craftspeople. It is a place where the centuries meet and where art never stands still, but is constantly seen anew.
Please note: during Boring Festival, we will be using the building on the Grote Markt.
