Boring Festival is a two-day weekend filled with art, music and performances across Haarlem’s most iconic venues. You can buy a weekend pass or single-day tickets for Friday or Saturday.
Are you under 30? Then you’ll get a nice discount on your ticket. Coming with a friend? Choose a duo weekend ticket, perfect for enjoying the full weekend together.
Only want to join the afterparty? That’s possible too!
Early bird tickets are on sale until 30 November, starting at €20 per day. Regular prices apply from 1 December.

Boring is a two-day vibrant music, theatre, art and performance festival. The city centre of Haarlem and all its beautiful historic buildings is the site of the festival. With your wristband you can walk between all the venues, they are all within a ten minute walk of each other.
The festival is a collaboration between Klein Haarlem and the cultural institutions of Haarlem. One of the goals of Boring is to acquaint the audience with those cultural places.
Klein Haarlem is a team of young people that wants to break boundaries between culture and nightlife in a safe setting. They have made a diverse program full of various musicians, DJs, theatre makers, choreographers and visual artists.

To enter Boring Festival's venues, you'll need a wristband. Visit the service desk at ‘De Vishal’, the festival's central venue, and show your ticket. In exchange, you'll receive a wristband that grants you access to all our locations. Depending on your ticket you'll receive wristband for Friday, Saturday or both.
Whatever you want, except of course stuff that is illegal. However, you can't bring your own drinks or food to the festival, with the exception of your own water bottle.
We do our best to ensure accessibility. All of our venues are wheelchair accessible. You can check each venue's accessibility by clicking on a venue on our homepage. If you have specific questions or need assistance, please send us a message!
Every venue has its own in-house restroom. All toilets are gender-neutral.
Ouch, no. Tickets are bound by name, so someone else is not able to use your ticket.

All venues are within a 10-minute walk of the festival’s heart (Vishal), but if you do need some form of transportation because of mobility issues, please let us know.
