In this privacy and cookie statement, Stichting Klein Haarlem explains in plain language what data we collect and process and what your rights are in this area. We treat personal information with respect and you can indicate which information you share with us. Stichting Klein Haarlem is a catalyst for creative and cultural dynamics, organizes cultural and creative events and creates vibrant incubators with (flex) workspaces for creative and social entrepreneurs. Stichting Klein Haarlem aims to form the creative link between arts and everyday culture in Haarlem and thereby create more freedom for the non-identical. It seeks to achieve this objective by organizing cultural and creative events/projects and creating a physical (work)space in Haarlem, through cultural entrepreneurship, where visual arts, music, theater and creative experiments from both individual makers and existing cultural institutions are connected with everyday culture, including behaviors in public space, traditions and leisure activities.

Stichting Klein Haarlem takes the protection of your privacy seriously. We only receive your personal information when you sign up for a Boring Festival newsletter, when you purchase a ticket for a Stichting Klein Haarlem event, send us an email, have made your data publicly available via social media or other public platform, or when you use our (festival) websites, apps or social media. We use the information we receive to provide our services, to improve our services, for marketing purposes and to offer our visitors, partners and customers good and personalized service. We explain this in more detail below.

You can always send us an email and ask what data we have about you. We are transparent about this and do not make it difficult at all.

We use your data when you purchase a ticket from us or visit our platforms. This is customary to process the order, accept payments and provide you with customer service. In addition, we use the information to conduct market research and analyses. This way our services will be improved. This includes marketing purposes to keep you informed about our events, reservation confirmations and event reminders.

Your data will not be used for purposes other than those mentioned above. Below we explain how you can modify or delete your data.

Once you have given permission to process your data, you will receive from us:

Stichting Klein Haarlem can collect information from you in the following ways:

-  Directly from you

We collect these after you have sent us an email, use our customer service, create an account on Eventix or participate in contests.

-  Via the website of Stichting Klein Haarlem and Boring Festival.

This information is collected to improve our services and will come from the use of cookies. In addition, if you give permission for this, we will receive your location data.

-  Via third-party websites

Stichting Klein Haarlem uses the services of third parties. This privacy statement also applies to third-party websites. The website you can think of is Eventix.

They may also collect data for their own purposes. Stichting Klein Haarlem is not responsible for data collection that goes beyond our assignment. We then refer you to the privacy statement of the relevant website.

-  At the event

Stichting Klein Haarlem will register data through images that are captured. Visitors are informed about the processing of images when entering the event location. In addition, data you have left behind when participating in the visitor satisfaction survey will be processed so that we can improve the festival.

-  Contact and account details from purchased tickets: name, address, phone number, email address, customer number, number of tickets purchased, payment and invoice details;

-  IP address, traffic and location data (read more about this in our cookie policy);

-  Responses to social media posts, reviews left and contest entries;

-  Special data: disability, mental and physical health and minor status.

The organizations that can view your data are: Ticketmaster, Caramba Media, our partners and sponsors and Sander Janssen Web Development. These organizations will view your data to continuously improve the festival. Their use is not permitted by Stichting Klein Haarlem. The data will remain within the organization of Stichting Klein Haarlem and will be stored in the Cloud. In addition, Stichting Klein Haarlem is not responsible for the privacy of third parties. As soon as you arrive at a website of our sponsors, ticket sales company or (cultural) partners via Stichting Klein Haarlem, their privacy statement applies.

You always have the right to request, adjust and if necessary (have) changed or deleted your data. This can be done in the following ways:

-  You can change your account and preferences with our ticket provider;

-  You can change or delete your data at the bottom of our newsletter (you will continue to receive important information about your purchased event);

-  Via the settings of your mobile/laptop/tablet you can turn your location data on and off and turn off push notifications;

-  Via our colophon you can request data or object to the processing of your data.

Stichting Klein Haarlem takes various appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your (personal) data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or if there are indications of misuse, please contact djescho@kleinhaarlem.nl.

Stichting Klein Haarlem does not retain data longer than is necessary for the processing purposes or legally required.
