Stepping into the dark with pulsing synths and melancholic vocals

Sixth June is a post new wave duo from Berlin with origins in Belgrade. Formed in 2007 by Laslo Antal, visual artist and actress Lidija Andonov. Berliner Zeitung characterises their music as “sweet, cool, dark electropop”, while Vice refers to Sixth June’s music as “music for dreaming and the new beginnings”. Beside the music, in focus are the visual aspects of the band. The videos, sets, design, and photography are all made by the band members, giving a personal touch to their distinctive sound.
