The artists of POUBELLE resist the unrestrained buying of new items. With their artworks made from what they find in the thrift store, on the street, or in the trash, they demonstrate that you can work with discarded materials without compromising aesthetic quality.

With POUBELLE, they aim to explore new territories, using an abstract visual language. They playfully bring found materials, such as packaging, an old broom, or a fly curtain, back to life. They transform these simple, discarded materials and objects into autonomous artworks, showcasing their simple beauty to others.

During the Boring Festival, POUBELLE predominantly exhibits XS works from a diverse group of artists of all ages from across the country and beyond: Akmar | Anne-Wil Lufting | HF van Steensel | Jean-Philippe Paumier | Joanneke Meester | Lisbeth Parisius | Mirjam Berloth | Pannas &Tulip | Porter Ellerman | Ronald de Ceuster | Tild Greene | Ton Zwerver
